Erin Brigham-Gray, DHA, MPH, CPHQ

Dr. Erin Brigham‑Gray is a healthcare executive with over 20 years of healthcare experience, including nearly 15 years in managed care spanning government and commercial products. She currently serves as AVP, Market Quality Operations at CareSource, where she leads Medicaid quality strategy across multiple markets and drives enterprise‑level quality performance, population health initiatives, and data‑driven improvement efforts.
Erin is recognized for designing and executing strategies to reduce health disparities, with a particular focus on improving chronic conditions management, maternal, infant, and child health outcomes in vulnerable populations. She brings deep experience in quality improvement, population health, analytics, and research design, including collaborative work with the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
Erin holds a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration, Masters in Public Health Management, and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. She serves on the Battelle PQM Board and as an Executive Board Member for Health Impact Ohio, the Central Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Health Service Executives, and Marie’s House of Hope.
Nzinga Lowe

Nzinga Lowe is a globally recognized speaker, strategic advisor, value-based care expert and innovator, and clinical transformation leader with deep experience across the healthcare ecosystem. She has led initiatives around the world, partnering with health systems, payers, governments, investors, and innovators to redesign care delivery and accelerate sustainable, equitable health outcomes. With extensive expertise in value-based care and population health, Nzinga has played a direct role in the operational and financial success of large-scale, national healthcare organizations. Her work spans the initiation and management of value-based contracts and programs, the design and scaling of whole-person care programs, and the development of high-performing Managed Service Organizations (MSOs) and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). She has consistently driven measurable improvements in clinical quality, cost performance, and health equity outcomes.
Nzinga is also a trusted advisor to national and international venture capital firms as well as early- and growth-stage health and health-tech companies. She supports portfolio strategy and market expansion while championing the inclusion of diverse start-ups centered around transformative care delivery, helping investors identify high-impact opportunities that align innovation with long-term value creation. A recognized leader in advancing the future of care, Nzinga has designed and implemented precision and longevity based health strategies, guiding organizations in embedding individualized care into governance, care models, data strategy, and clinical operations. She has supported high-performing organizations in entering new markets, launching innovative care delivery models, and building the infrastructure required for scalable, value-driven growth.

Asma Hussain, MPH, CPH

Asma Hussain is a public health expert, strategy consultant, and nonprofit leader with 15 years of experience in advancing health equity through community-based solutions, program management, strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks. She is the co-founder and former Executive Director of a free clinic located in Cleveland, OH that serves the local refugee and immigrant populations and other BIPOC communities. Here, she fostered a culture of safety and equity in all processes to ensure culturally responsive, patient-centered, trauma-informed care, as many patients come from areas of ongoing conflicts around the world.
Asma was a Consultant at Advancing Health Equity and a Senior Consultant at Rabin Martin, a global public health strategy firm, where she led several high-profile client engagements focused on maternal health, racial equity, childhood obesity, chronic care management, and
HIV/AIDS. She also has experience in building efficient systems to improve outcomes and sustain impact in federally qualified health centers, large hospital systems, community health centers, and nonprofits. She was a Performance Improvement Advisor at Community Solutions where
she worked with diverse communities across the country to reduce homelessness through strategic planning, PDSA cycles, and valuing lived experience. Asma also worked as a Data
Analyst for the 17 Planned Parenthood health centers across Ohio, crafting insights to help senior leadership advance health equity for communities of color.
Asma holds a Master of Public Health from Case Western Reserve University. She also received training and certification through the Global Mental Health Trauma and Recovery Program at Harvard University on how to provide trauma-informed care in clinical and community settings. She is certified in public health (CPH) from the National Board of Public Health Examiners.

Bryant Harvin

Bryant is a seasoned, mission-driven leader with a decade of experience serving the non-profit sector across a variety of fields, including Communication Sciences & Disorders, Pharmacy, Counseling, and Early Childhood Education. His work in these fields reflects his deep commitment to advancing professional practice and creating lasting change in the communities he serves.
With deep expertise in accreditation, adult education, and program & project management, Bryant has successfully led strategic national and state-level initiatives that have elevated standards of these professions, improved learning outcomes, and advanced innovation across the non-profit sector.
NAEHD was founded through the lived experiences of Bryant and his family. It stands as an inclusive approach to bring together diverse stakeholders committed to ending health disparities under one mission.
Outside of his work, Bryant enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with family, and hanging out with his vibrant dog-niece, Teddi, the cutest Yorkie-Bichon you'll ever meet!

Debarshi Roy, PhD
Medical & Scientific Advisor

Dr. Debarshi Roy, an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences at Alcorn State University, is highly committed to improving health equity in underserved communities and reducing health disparities.
He was awarded PhD in Pathobiology from the University
of Texas at El Paso and completed post-doctoral training in cancer biology/metabolic
regulation at Mayo Clinic. Using a combination of biomedical science/public health
research, Dr. Roy is working to improve inequities in cancer, metabolic disease, and
access to health care. His research focuses on how social determinants, environmental
exposures, and biological determinants interact to create health disparities in
underserved population. Dr. Roy leads/co-leads several initiatives that utilize community
engagement, data-driven approaches, promoting health literacy, creating access to
preventative care, and informing evidence-based interventions through partnership with
local/regional communities. Dr. Roy has received multiple grants from federal, national,
and private institutions like NIH and NSF, to fund projects that connect research,
community involvement, and policy development. Through his work, he aims to advance
strategies that expand access to healthcare services, guide equitable resource allocation,
and support the development of sustainable interventions for underserved communities.
As an educator and mentor, Dr. Roy is committed to training future public health and
science leaders, with an emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and community impact. His
ultimate goal is to turn scientific ideas into equal health outcomes and significant policy
change.
Uche Anozie, PhD, MS

Dr. Uche Anozie is an R&D strategist and scientific director with over a decade of experience guiding early-stage discovery, translational research, and biomarker-driven therapeutic strategies across academia and industry. His expertise spans precision medicine, genomic analytics, and the application of machine learning to inform clinical and research decision-making.
Dr. Anozie leads the discovery architecture and translational strategy at a stealth life science company, bridging gaps between industry and academia through high-impact collaborations that advance therapeutic innovation and prioritize equitable access to care. His work integrates biomarker strategies and data-driven approaches into early research and pilot studies, with a focus on maximizing translational relevance and impact.
Previously, as a Research Fellow and Staff Scientist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Dr. Anozie partnered with physician-scientists, biostatisticians, and multidisciplinary teams to reposition therapeutics across cardiometabolic and liver diseases. He contributed to large-scale cohort research using genomic and epidemiologic methods to better understand disparities in disease outcomes across diverse populations.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Anozie leveraged targeted nanotherapeutic platforms in preclinical models to address the intersection of obesity and B-cell lymphoma. Additionally, he investigated cardiometabolic models with an emphasis on how non-ideal metabolic states impact therapeutic efficacy. He also brings foundational industry experience supporting drug development, regulatory compliance, and process validation within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Dr. Anozie holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, where his research focused on nanotechnology and metabolic disorders.
His work is characterized by a commitment to advancing precision medicine, improving health equity, and translating complex scientific insights into actionable clinical strategies.
