Navigating this condition has shown me firsthand how fear, cost barriers, and limited options impact patients long before they reach crisis points. I am sharing my story to raise awareness, push for more equitable care, and remind others living with progressive conditions that their experiences and emotions are valid. No one should have to risk their vision because of insurance gaps or financial obstacles.
